Our Mobile Medical Outreach initiative uses innovative medical tricycles that allow us to overcome barriers posed by distance, terrain, and transportation infrastructure, which contribute to poor health outcomes and preventable illnesses. Our “poor man’s version” of a mobile medical van ensures medical outreach teams can reach the most remote Ghanaian communities that are in dire need of medical care.
Our Mobile Medical Outreach delivers healthcare services, including education, counseling, health screenings, vaccinations, and emergency transport for critically ill patients and pregnant women. We serve vulnerable populations, such as children, the elderly, and pregnant women, who are disproportionately affected by inaccessible healthcare.
With tricycles doubling as ambulances, underserved communities benefit from timely interventions, reducing the strain of untreated conditions that lead to worsening health and deeper cycles of poverty.
Thanks to Brother’s Brother Foundation’s very generous pharmaceutical donations which allow us to bring desperately needed medicines to some of the most underserved villages.
It costs only $2500 to provide a life-saving “tricycle.” Donate today to help Hope for Ghana change healthcare access in Ghanaian villages forever.
