Hope for Ghana’s most recent chapter earlier this month was hugely successful. Our second school, Platini’s School of Hope, was inaugurated and is now open to over 100 students. 7 more villages in dire need of clean, potable water were identified, and drilling for abundant water beneath the earth has been completed. Apprentice sponsorships were given to 5 men and women who will now have the opportunity to receive the vocational skills necessary to become a hairdresser, seamstress, electrician and tractor operator. And thanks to the initiative of private donors, a Widows and Orphans celebration was jubilantly received with messages of hope, school supplies and school uniforms for the orphans, and gifts of food and a soap making class for the widows.
Words can never adequately describe the gift of life that I witnessed over the last few weeks. These videos and pictures give you a taste of the overwhelming joy and gratitude I experienced every day in Ghana.
Thank you for sharing this life changing journey together, and for providing transformative hope and opportunity to the beautiful people in the remote villages of Ghana.
