Hope for Ghana is filled with an immense sense of accomplishment as 2023 comes to an end, with gratitude for an abundant outpouring of benevolence that fuels our mission.
Hope for Ghana’s third school opened in March, and our fourth school is nearly finished, bringing the power of education to Ghana’s most vulnerable children. In November our ninth library and computer lab brought story books, text books, computers and learning software never seen before. We provided access to clean, potable water to 7 more villages, and provided apprentice sponsorships for 13 more young men and women who are empowered for a brighter future.
We witnessed Brother’s Brother Foundation’s second medical shipment provide desperately needed medical equipment that will change health care delivery in Ghana. Christmas celebrations fed over 1000 people in 6 villages, and provided National Health Insurance to 8000 people to end this incredible year.
My retirement from medicine at the end of the year is a pivotal milestone allowing me to immerse myself in my life’s work and take Hope for Ghana to heights beyond imagination.
Thank you for your love, your compassion and your commitment to Hope for Ghana in 2023 and throughout the years. Together we bring hope and opportunity that transform lives every day.
May your 2024 be filled with abundant blessings, joy and peace!
