Water is life! The joy and celebration was overwhelming in the village of Ampomakrom as Hope for Ghana continues its mission to provide access to clean, potable water to villages in dire need. This most recent gift was provided by a benevolent woman in Singapore who upon learning of my mission immediately created a unique fundraiser, selling her famous rice dumplings throughout Singapore. Helen Liu Yan and her wonderful friends in Singapore raised the funds to transform the lives of Ghanaian children and families forever.
Hope for Ghana is thrilled that 5 more villages will soon have clean water in the next few weeks thanks to philanthropy from Grace Life Church, Rose Transportation, Upcode Studios, Zach and Rebecca Lewis, Jeremy and Kaylee Klingensmith, Tammy and Damon Oliver, and donors all around the world. Senyo, Hope for Ghana’s Ground Operations Assistant, is working tirelessly to orchestrate this life saving work so that women and children no longer have to walk miles to fetch dirty water from a river dam and no longer have to share water with animals.
Please contact Hope for Ghana if you want to share in this miraculous gift of clean water. For merely $3500 you will truly save lives when you provide a village with its most essential need.
Enjoy the heartwarming video below of the beautiful people of Ampomakrom receiving clean water for the first time. It is the picture of joy and hope.
