I am thrilled to announce that Chick-fil-A at Miracle Mile in Pittsburgh will host a fundraising event for Hope for Ghana on Thursday, February 6, 2014. Spirit Night is one of Chick-fil-A’s many charitable efforts in our community, and Hope for Ghana will be the recipient of a portion of the profits brought in between 4 pm and 7 pm on this one night.

I am honored and truly humbled that Chick-fil-A considers my mission work in Ghana deserving of their charitable contribution and attention. Hope for Ghana’s Spirit Night comes at the perfect time, only a couple of weeks before my departure to Ghana. At the end of February 2014 I will continue where I left off at Ryvanz-Mia Orphanage to bring a second library and computer lab to the nearby village of Keta.

I thank Chick-fil-A and all of Hope for Ghana’s generous donors for encouraging my mission of bringing opportunity through education to the children of Ghana. As the voice of these children I say thank you for giving them the opportunity for a brighter future.

So please save the date and join me at Chick-fil-A at Miracle Mile on February 6, 2014 between 4 pm and 7 pm for an amazing evening of food, fun and charity. Spread the word and invite family, friends and colleagues to join us as well.

Reading each email nearly brings a tear to my eye. Not only the benevolence that you have bestowed but the passion that you have to do more makes you truly a humanitarian.
