My dear Ghanaian friend, Paul Agbee, 49 year old self-taught artist, uniquely combines Cubism, Realism and traditional Ghanaian art in his paintings. Inspired by his mother, Paul Agbee’s masterpieces reflect the beauty and passion of African women in the village taking care of children and their family. His work is an honest portrayal of their joy, their sorrows, their hope and their hardships.
These 5 masterpieces will be displayed at Atithi Studios in Sharpsburg, PA (1020 N. Canal Street) December 16, 2022 through January 31, 2023. Join Hope for Ghana at the studio’s opening reception on Friday December 16, 2022 6 pm-9 pm, or visit during regular studio hours Thursdays through Sundays 11 am-4 pm. If you can’t make it to the studio, Paul’s incredible works may be purchased by contacting Hope for Ghana.
Proceeds are equally shared between Hope for Ghana and the artist, allowing Paul to pursue his art in the midst of economic hardship in Ghana.
