I’m thrilled to be going to Ghana tomorrow as the next chapter of Hope for Ghana gets ready to unfold. Every day I am asked what exactly I will be doing on this next trip. It’s not a simple straightforward answer.
On any one day in Ghana I will be building Hope for Ghana’s second school as my faithful and committed team brings the structure all the way to the roof, all while I pour into Hope for Ghana’s first school, Mason’s School of Hope, and provide more opportunities in the village of Gakpokorpe.
I will visit and celebrate life with all the villages where Hope for Ghana has already brought access to clean water, and continue this work in several more villages to bring clean, potable water to villages in dire need.
I will share around 350 pounds of gifts given to me by friends from all over Pittsburgh, including clothes, shoes, school supplies, bibles, soccer balls, jump ropes, flashlights, candy and so many more surprises. I will share the love of people all around the world who entrust me as the messenger of their good will.
Beyond all that I try to fit into these suitcases, Hope for Ghana ultimately will bring hope. And that is the greatest gift one can bring to Africa.
The video below tells it all. It’s a glimpse into the impact of Hope for Ghana, and it’s a story of joy worth sharing. Thank you for being the credits behind this wonderful film. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who brings this joy and hope and love to children and families in the most remote and forgotten villages on this earth. Together we are transforming a country.
